Susie
Susie is the deuteragonist and one of the three main characters of Deltatraveler. She awakens together with Kris in the Ruins at the start of Section 1.
She takes the role of the tank for the party, boasting both the highest max health and damage of the group, and having access to her powerful Rude Buster to deal high amount of damage to enemies. However she's very picky regarding equipment, using only a few specific weapons and refusing to equip certain armors.
Her Flavor color is Strawberry.
Relationships
Kris
Continuing from Deltarune, Susie still has a warm relationship with Kris. She still puts trust in Kris and listens to their commands. They also continue to have friendly moments with each other, and Susie even helps comfort Kris with a hug during Section 3 even though hugging isn't usually her thing.
In the Obliteration Route, Susie expresses her concerns over Kris's behaviour, though she doesn't outright stop them at first. Over time, her relationship with Kris becomes strained due to her not accepting the party's violent nature against harmless animals, and even temporarily acts violent and angry to them.[2] However, after Kris explains their situation, Susie's relationship with Kris heals, and any moments where Susie seemingly acts violent or angry to Kris, is actually directed at the SOUL instead.[3]
Flowey
When meeting Flowey for the first time, Susie instantly gets off to a bad start with him, especially after quickly figuring out that Flowey is just after Kris and Susie's SOULs. She doesn't want to work with Flowey at all and would much rather fight him. At the end of Section 1, Susie becomes furious at Flowey for trying to attack Kris and threatens him. If killed, Susie appears to be more taken aback by Flowey's death than satisfied.[4]
If spared, Susie doesn't bash Kris for their decision, though still seems unhappy with Flowey. If the party catches Flowey stalking them, Susie is the first out of the trio to speak up about it, and yells out to get Flowey to show himself.[5] She also seems suspicious about Flowey's motives after his fight.[6]
Noelle
Continuing from Deltarune, Susie considers Noelle a good friend, though is still a little oblivious to Noelle's crush on her. She seems happy when Noelle joins the party at the end of Section 1, and the two never have unfriendly interactions. On the Obliteration Route, when Noelle leaves the party temporarily, Susie goes after her to ensure she doesn't get hurt, and appears worried over her miserable state at times.[7]
Paula
Susie can find out about Paula before meeting her by talking to the masked man in Happy Happy Village. She becomes furious at the masked man after he accidentally reveals that he kidnapped Paula and locked her up, and is extremely concerned when the two do meet, regardless of whether the party find out about Paula or not.[8] She quickly rescues Paula and continues to defend her from Porky and the masked man. When saying their goodbyes at the end of Section 2, she wishes Paula good luck on her own adventure happily.
On the Obliteration Route, Susie still shows concern over Paula after finding her imprisoned and rescues her, though she doesn't decide to listen to her advice of staying at the cabin and waiting for help. At the end of Section 2, when Paula attacks the party, Susie's pleas to avoid battling do not work, so Susie demands that Kris doesn't kill Paula and Ness. During the battle against Paula, Susie is more likely to refuse hurting Paula, showing that she is very hesitant to hurt her.
Ness
While only meeting briefly, Susie and Ness have a positive interaction at the end of Section 2, where Ness thanks the trio for helping him get closer to defeating Giygas, which seems to fill Susie with pride.[9] She wishes him and Paula luck on their adventures when the two groups say their final goodbyes. Susie does also jokingly refer to him as a "rich kid" if she finds out that Ness was given $347 by his dad.[10]
If the Obliteration Route was aborted, Susie hides the party's violent past from him.[11] When Ness ambushes the party on the Obliteration Route, Susie desperately tries to stop him and Paula from attacking them, not wanting to kill them. She will outright refuse to attack Ness if he is hurt enough.
Papyrus (GG!Underfell)
Susie initially appears a bit weirded out when she first meets Papryus, though doesn't show any hostility. She quickly starts to grow a dislike for him however as he continuously sets up traps to kill Kris, especially after he lets Sans (GG!Underfell) escape him.[12] If Sans (GG!Underfell) is spared with Sleep Mist, Susie still doesn't exactly seem pleased with Papyrus,[13] though she also appears saddened after hearing Papyrus's upsetting backstory with his brother.
Sans (GG!Underfell)
Throughout Section 3, Susie and Sans have a very strong dislike for each other. Sans's first immediate attempt to kill Kris instantly gives Susie a bad first impression, and she is quick to defend her friends from him. She also judges Sans's aggressive "puzzles".[14]
At the end of the section, when Sans attacks once again, Susie is devastated when Sans implies that he killed the GG!Underfell version of Susie. She angrily engages in battle with him, and even when sparing him with Sleep Mist, she admits that she was very close to killing him anyway, regardless of the party's past actions.[15] If Sans is spared normally, Susie still refuses to believe Sans is worth redeeming, thus ending their interactions on an unfriendly note.[16] It's entirely possible that Sans's aggressive attitude reminded Susie of her home life, hence her violent nature towards him.[17]

Red Buster
"Deals RED damage"
Only available during boss fights (Flowey, Porky's Mech when its eye is open, Ness & Paula in Phase 2 and GG!Underfell Sans), it can be casted during Kris's turn (Susie must be present). Deals much more damage than Rude Buster. Pressing "Z" right after it hits the target will boost its damage even further. Costs 60% TP.
Ultimate Heal
"The best healing"
An extremely weak healing spell, only healing 1 HP normally or 4 HP during boss fights. Costs 100% TP.
Status Effects
Currently, Susie's only status effect is exclusive to the Obliteration Route.
Devious
In Section 3, Susie can become Devious if the player makes specific choices. After killing Lesser Dog and surviving Susie's attacks, the player can attack Susie and then choose specific dialogue to make her Devious. Side effects of her being Devious include:
- Throwing the Heavy Branch rather than attacking normally, dealing less damage
- Attacking herself when trying to attack
- Healing enemies with items or Ultimate Heal
- Throwing away her weapon if GG!Underfell Sans is killed with Iceshock
Making Susie Devious is not a requirement for the Obliteration Route.

- Ness: Well, some people thought a giant monster did it.
- Ness: And I hear a huge, monster mole guarder this place.
- Ness: So I guess that it did the killing.
- Ness: You guys took care of it, did you?
- Ness: And by proxy, you guys also freed Paula, right?
- Susie: Oh, yeah, right, yeah!
- Susie: We, uhhh... did.
- Ness: That's really cool.
