Gyftrot
Gyftrot is an unique monster and enemy in Section 3 - Hell's Forest. It is find in the pathway leading to the cavern with the mysterious door, wandering around blindly.
It will start in the Hostile state.
Attacks
- Three white presents will appear at the bottom of the Bullet Board, with one flashing cyan, before turning white again; after shuffling for a few seconds, the present that flashed cyan will turn on and all three will ascend in a straight direction.
- Occasionally, when ascending the presents will also move horrizontally as well.
If at least 50 damage is dealt to Gyftrot in a turn, it will increase the difficulty of its attacks by 1, 100 damage by 2. 150 damage by 3 and 200 damage by 4.
- At difficulty 1, the blinking cyan present will "lie", as a different one will turn on cyan.
- At difficulty 2 and 3, one present will also blink orange as well, but both presents will still lie about the ones that will actually turn on their respective colors.
- At difficulty 4, a present will either blink orange or cyan, while actually turning into the opposite color, while still lying about the actual present it will turn on.
Noelle's N-Action will reduce Gyftrot's current difficulty level by 1.
Mercy
Gyftrot can be spared either through a sequence of ACTs to fill the Mercy Bar to 100%, or by using Sleep Mist when it is TIRED. What each ACT will do is listed below:
- Undecorate and S-Action will both remove a piece of ornament from Gyftrot, increasing it's Mercy by 25%. Undecorate requires Noelle's turn. If S-Action is used at 75% Mercy, it will deal 1 damage to Susie, because of the barbed wire.
- If 100% Mercy is reached and Decorate was never used, it will stop Gyftrot from attacking.
- Decorate will instead add a piece of ornament onto Gyftrot, decreasing it's Mercy by 25%. If used at 100% Mercy, it will deal 1 damage to Kris.
- Gift will give 35G to Gyftrot. It requires Susie and Noelle's turns.
- N-Action will decrease by one the difficulty of Gyftrot's attacks, which is increased when dealing enough damage in one turn.
