Bluster Blade

The Bluster Blade is a WIND weapon used by Jerry during its fight in Section 3 - Hell's Forest. It can be acquired after Jerry is killed and can only be used by Kris, since it is too heavy for Noelle to use.

This blade has an unique type of attack, using two very quick bars, one which slices the enemy vertically, while the other horizontally; if both bars are crits, on top of dealing the max potential damage, the horizontal slice will cover the entire screen, hitting every enemy at once. This makes the Bluster Blade the best weapon against large groups of enemies, if used properly.

However, hitting off-target is penalized with less damage than SLASH weapons.

When used against Sans (GG!Underfell) in Section 3, this weapon's critical attack has an unique interaction: as Sans dodges by moving to the side while focused, the large horizontal slice will still catch him regardless. Because of this, he will also be unable to avoid any other attacks from Susie and Noelle.

Trivia

• When interacting with it, it will give the unique option "Pull sword".
• If Jerry is spared while on the Obliteration Route, the Bluster Blade can be seen broken on the floor in the room before the GG!Underfell Sans fight.
  • This implies that Jerry attempted to attack GG!Underfell Sans, but was killed in combat, or it fled after the Bluster Blade broke in the battle.
• If one of the reticles is missed, the attack animation will only display one slash, depending on which reticle was missed.
